As part of the promotional blitz for her new movie Young Adult, Charlize Theron posed for the December cover of Vogue as that tried-and-true magazine cover trope, sexy wet lady emerging from the ocean with improbably perfect hair and makeup. According to Fashionista, the cover and editorial were shot by Annie Leibovitz and Charlize is wearing the Calvin Klein Spring 2012 collection.
Theron certainly looks gorgeous in that diaphanous, silvery dress, but is an aquatic photo really the right look for December? It seems a bit out of season to me.

The site is set to launch on October 31st, but they’re offering a great incentive to join now. For every person who signs up between now and October 30th, BeautyMint will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Nike Sportswear has been pumping out some tough looking sneakers via the Vac Tech series of releases, but Nike ACG has and will always be the true home for the brawny gear. This is the second time weve heard from the newly released Nike ACG Manoa, and this time around the boot gets the straight up Timberland treatment. From the monochrome haystack upper to the black leather wrapping the ankle, the inspiration for these is clear. The overall feel is similar to the handful of wheat flavored joints weve seen on the VT side of things, but with a much sturdier build out thanks to the heavy traction on bottom.

Today, in things that are culturally offensive: Kim Kardashian, of the sex tape having Kardashians, tried on a full burka with niqab on a recent trip to Dubai to make millons of dollars opening a Millions Of Milkshakes store at a supermall there. Thats her in the above picture.
