The sub-heading is particularly infuriating: “Trying to catch the guy at the bars eye? It wont happen if you look like this.”

Anyway, here’s the 12 looks that apparently women should avoid if they ever hope to snag a guy who responds to online polls:

This season, you cant go far without spotting a cute cropped leather jacket.  From drapey in front to more biker mama, there is a color and style for everyone.

Here I show my top five. In the next few posts, Ill show you how to wear them so you can get the most for your investment. From left to right, clockwise:

  • AllSaints Alcona Jacket $650.  This cool, two-tone lambskin jacket is in a pretty gray color. I love AllSaints for their hip vibe this jacket looks great buttoned up to create a funnel neck or can be worn draped open. Remember, lambskin is super soft so this should be buttery.

For The Boys: Kenneth Cole Helps You Perfect That Pick-Up

October 18th, 2011 by Sophia Bendrodt

Hey dudes!  Read up, because this ones for you.

If you seem to be having trouble perfecting your game with the ladies (or gentlemen, we support all here), even after going on endless OkCupid dates, designer Kenneth Cole feels your pain and is here to help.  And as a bonus?  Hell make you smell better too.

To go along with the release of their newest mens fragrance Connected ($67.50), an adrenaline rush of masculinity for the modern man on the go, Kenneth Cole Reaction has launched a digital campaign called Connecting 101, which through a series of web videos, aims to build up your confidence, show you what youre doing wrong and provide you with useful info to successfully get that girl or guy.

The five comedic webisodes, which can be seen on a site specially created for the campaign are centered around writer and cult hipster Gavin McInnes (ahem, co-founder of Vice) who plays the connecting expert in several different dating/pick-up situations.  Also on the site, youll find next-step advice for making that intimate connection as well as a mobile version, useful for providing quick one-liners and tips when youre really in need.

To get you started-  here, McInnes tells you how to not let your ego get in the way:

Now go get em rico suave.  You got this.
