Though leopard-print pumps and striped totes are as essential to a wardrobe as the perfect pair of jeans, lately I’ve been paying homage to the carefree spirit of summer by choosing accessories adorned with more whimsical prints.

Navajo-print wedge sandals and scarves by Theodora & Callum will bring a basic maxi dress to the Southwest, while Anya Hindmarch’s irrepressible retro print (pictured) will make even a busy Monday feel like a day at the beach. And Jonathan Adler’s signature Pop Art prints will brighten up my umbrellas and laptop cases until the sobriety of fall has me turning back to solid blacks and greys.
