Vintage 70s framed kitchen wall decor set of five Turner Mfg. Co. vegetables spices recipes

April 2nd, 2011 by Oscar Farber

This is a wonderful retro set of prints for your kitchen, manufactured by Turner. These prints are from 1971 and are by Heritage Publications, Inc. They were manufactured by Turner mfg. Co., which went out of business in 1975. There is a signature on each – signed Julia.

These cheerful prints feature watercolor style illustrations of recipes and spices. There are three large framed prints that each have a recipe and picture. The recipes are Broccoli Afucato, Snapper Per-Du, and Coq au Vin A la Didi. There are two smaller framed pictures that feature Ginger and Rosemary, with a definition and story of each.

The frames are made of wood and have glass inserts. They are painted in a bright yellow, accented with black. The backing is heavy cardboard stapled to the wood frame. The frame for the Broccoli print is gapping at the lower right corner. Also, the print inside of that frame is loose and will probably have to be taken out and re-secured. The frame for the Coq au Vin is missing the cardboard backing.
All frames except that one have the original Turner Mfg. Co. sticker label.

I will ship these parcel post because of the weight and expense. If you want Priority mail instead, convo me and I will give you an exact shipping cost.
