It appears that both Maggie Q and had sunshine on their minds when they opted for structured and bright yellow designs for the month of May.

In 2010, the former Grey’s Anatomy star wore her lemon Jenni Kayne shift dress to The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC. She matched the dress’ waistband with black bracelets and strappy YSL sandals. A chic updo and pearls finished off her classy-with-edge look.

Nearly a year later, Maggie donned her Roland Mouret frock to the CW Upfront Presentation in NYC. The Nikita star added black Christian Louboutin peep-toes and a matching belt, but kept the rest of her look clean.

Both looked as bright as the summer sun, but which actress burned a hole in her pocket for the hue?
