Kate Hudson, Zoe Saldana and Gwyneth Paltrow have brought yellow fever to the red carpet with full-length, buttery yellow gowns and bold, golden shifts; whilst Leighton Meester used the power of accessories to add a pop of colour to her outfit with yellow shoes and bag.

On the Runway

Chanel gave us soft, barely there yellows in tailored forms and checks (a big hit for autumn and winter as well), whilst Christopher Kane worked chartreuse into delicate, lace dresses and sharp strips through printed pieces. The golden tones of Giambattista Valli’s Grecian creations channelled yellow into seductive evening wear and Michael Kors brightened both sport luxe and the sixties shift with canary yellow.

Yellow, black and cream in geometric designs were seen both at the spring Diane Von Furstenburg show and on the autumn/winter Celine runway as a grown up print, whilst look no further than Blumarine for overcoat inspiration
