Im sure very few of you are considering what youll look like at your funerals (those of you who are, you are very creepy). But just in case, Brit cosmetics company Illamasqua has partnered with London funeral home Leverton & Sons to provide makeup looks to take you into the afterlife. Their reasoning for opening up to the funeral market? According to their blog:

Illamasqua encourages people to self-express and embrace their alter ego in every way why should this be any different when you pass away? It is a celebration of life, and one that should be indulged for your last glamorous look.

Designers shoulder on in Paris

Thom Browne

Thom Browne staged his flapper-and-fringe-themed show in the dining room of the famed Maxim’s restaurant, to the strains of “Willkommen” from Kander and Ebb’s “Cabaret.”

What followed was Browne’s usual curio cabinet of tailored pieces, garments that often seem designed more to showcase his skills than to be worn out in the real world — such as the fringed lampshade bucket hat worn by the first model down the runway.

Based in a color palette of black and gray with Browne’s traditional red, white and-blue accents, the collection of suits, jackets, capes, shirt dresses and shorts was heavy on the stripes and nearly as heavy on the fringe, which seemed to dangle from every garment edge imaginable — jacket shoulder pads, trousers, hems of jackets and shirts, scarves and the aforementioned lampshade hats. Tom Ford: ‘Americans are too fat’

Americans have Tom Ford seeing fat, not fashion.

At least, that’s what the designer said when asked where he finds his inspiration.

The Texas native held nothing back in an interview with Time Out Hong Kong, telling the magazine that he thinks Americans are “too fat.”

“I have to say if we have to talk about things like this, Americans are too fat. And in London, they are starting to get fat too,” he said, when asked whether or not his collection is made to fit everyone.

“I find it refreshing that everyone [who is] Chinese is slim,” he added.

Ford, who served as the creative director for both Gucci and Yves St.
