First Fashion: Figure Flattering Frocks

On any given day, I’m more likely to throw on a pretty little dress than a pair of jeans. This predilection is mostly born of convenience dressing, but it also has to do with the elegant look one fluid piece provides. There’s nothing quite as chic as a clean-lined frock that hits every curve just so.

We promised to take a close look at the submissions for Spreadshirt’s 1st API Contest. Today we present 8 of those submissions (grouped thematically). These apps all have their own answer to the question: how do I get content onto clothing in an easy and unconventional way?

Topic 1: How do I bring existing content from various sources to clothing?

In this area, the Spreadshirt API was used to access information about Spreadshirt clothing, upload photos, create products and add those to the shopping cart for purchase.

Style Showdown: Posh Shows Olivia Palermo How It’s Done!

Olivia Palermo and Victoria Beckham both have impeccable taste and well, um, posh style. So we aren’t surprised that the savvy fashionistas have worn V.B.’s very own stunning shift dress on separate occasions.

Last night, Olivia attended the premiere of The Ledge in New York City wearing the tangerine piece. We loved how she spiced it up by wearing leopard-print Charlotte Olympia pumps. However, the socialite also paired the look with a hot pink Sondra Roberts rose satin box clutch, which absolutely clashed with the dress and shoes.
