Your Thong Is Being Made By Child Laborers

December 15th, 2011 by Eliza Mingay

Which makes it feel less lacy and more awful, doesnt it?

To be fair, we dont know exactly where you buy your underwear, but if its Victorias Secret, then, yes, child labor! Bloomberg reports on Burkina Faso program that deals in cotton, fibers from which are then fashioned into Victorias Secret garments:

In Burkina Faso, where child labor is endemic to the production of its chief crop export, paying lucrative premiums for organic and fair-trade cotton has perversely created fresh incentives for exploitation.

The Philadelphia Fashion Incubator has arrived!

Beauty How-To: Achieving Pin-Up Girl Makeup

10. A Shirtdress. The shirtdress helps to bridge the gap between work and weekend.  You can even make it more casual by wearing flat sandals with it.  Here I show a J.Crew shirtdress in navy that looks great with the light jacket from Part 1, alone with a fun necklace for the weekend, or layered under the aqua cardi and belted for a more business casual vibe.

11. A Sho
